Meet Paul Smith
A veteran of the financial services industry, Paul has spent more than 2 decades educating and assisting Riverside and San Bernardino Counties retirement population. As a Trust Representative for FRA Trust, Smith’s mission is to provide both pre-retirees and retirees with the education they need to make informed decisions about their retirement future. Paul’s organization works directly with clients to develop an estate plan that suits their specific needs and situation.
When dealing with the sensitivity of estate and financial planning, those entering retirement or already there lack the luxury of time to rectify any misfortunes of under planning. Because of the severity of circumstances that can arise from an unplanned retirement, Paul helps people prepare today to avoid the potentially devastating problems that tomorrow may bring. Paul helps retirees protect and preserve their life savings, guard assets from excessive taxes, probate and the high-costs of assisted living and nursing home expenses, and plan for the distribution of their life savings in the most tax-advantageous manner possible while ensuring that they will be financially secure throughout their retirement years.
Paul has produced a number of articles and reports for those entering early retirement or already there to read, learn from, and apply the strategies to their own personal situations. He consults retirees on how to arrange their assets and estates, regardless of size, to provide financial security and a consistent income throughout their retirement years. Additionally, he helps people plan to leave a legacy to their heirs, rather than a combination of excessive taxes and legal expenses.
Paul is a member of many distinguished industry organizations, most notably the National Association of Financial and Estate Planners (NAFEP) and the Association of Chartered Senior Financial Planners (ACSFP). He is a Chartered Senior Financial Planner (CSFP) which assists him in his mission to help clients guard assets and leave a legacy to heirs.
Paul attributes his success as a Trust Representative to his passion for helping others, his pursuit of providing financial security in the golden years and his commitment to client satisfaction. Smith resides in Moreno Valley with his wife Joylynn. Together they have four children and one grandchild.
